Health and Safety Requirements

Travel
Rest well the night before, especially for long-distance travel. Refer to NZTA guidelines on managing fatigue.
We recommend you arrive in each city the day before the Expo.
Pack In/Out
Palmerston North and Hamilton: Pack in from 1-4pm the day prior to the expo. Pack out may begin at 3:00pm.
Auckland, Dunedin, Christchurch: Pack in on the morning of the expo. Pack out may begin at 3:00pm in Auckland, 2:00pm in Christchurch; and 1:00pm in Dunedin.
Hazard/hi-vis vest must be worn by all exhibitors.
Parking access available at each venue for unloading/reloading. Access closes at 8:30am, with opening at 9:00am.
No suppliers allowed to pack out early. No vehicles permitted inside the venue without express permission, as damage will incur charges.
Damage
Care must be taken with displays which can mark or damage the flooring at the venue. Please ensure there is adequate protection against damaging the floor.
Any damage will be charged to the Supplier responsible.
Stands
All stands are 3 metres deep. Width of each stand is determined by the site you have booked. All sites at each venue are not panelled, with the rear wall of each site being the wall of the venue.
Tables/Chairs
Tables and chairs are not supplied and are the responsibility of the supplier.
Power
There is a power outlet available for your use but you will need to supply your own extension cords/multi boxes.
Extension leads and multi boxes must have passed electrical inspections and have a current certification tag.
Food and Drink
All venues have catering on site and are close to other food outlets.
Suppliers are reminded to take care of the venue floor surface with hot drinks.
Any Suppliers intending to provide coffee/food as part of their display need to obtain approval from the organisers as some Venues restrict this activity.
Parking
Parking is free at every venue. Exhibitor vehicles must be moved away from the venue entrance and visitor parking following pack in.
Earthquakes and other emergencies
Make sure your display is free of hazards to people visiting the shows. Loose cables must be tucked away and take steps to ensure nothing is placed high and unsecured on your display stand.
The Shows are open to the general public as well as allied health professionals. Keep personal items tucked away.
Should there be any earthquakes or other emergencies during the shows we will follow the advice and requirements of the venue management regarding any evacuations. Take note of evacuation notices in the various venues should these be required.
